The Kwanlin Dün First Nation Economic Development Department has the objective of generating economic wealth for the Kwanlin Dün First Nation by engaging in activities that will build skills and capacity within the citizenry, and increase the value of the First Nation`s assets, in order to contribute to societal well-being for the current and future generations.
Our staff are working to explore and develop new business opportunities, negotiate and execute Yukon Asset Construction Agreements, take the lead on the construction of the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, as well as work cross functionally with 42135 Yukon (the Kwanlin Dün construction company), and other KDFN Departments to develop employment opportunities and build capacity and expertise to benefit Kwanlin Dün Citizens.
