Kwanlin Dün First Nation, Community Services Department is looking for a relief Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Director, Community Services or designate, the relief Administrative Assistant will provide backup coverage for the permanent full time assistant during periods of absence or may be called in during periods of high volume.
Please note, there is no guarantee of regularly scheduled hours with auxiliary on call positions. One should be available for last minute call in.

The ideal candidate will be motivated and enthusiastic, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be willing to learn.
• High school graduation (or equivalent);
• Post-secondary coursework in business or office administration is an asset;
• Experience dealing with the public in the customer service industry;
• Experience handling cash, issuing receipts is an asset;
• Experience working with First Nations in a community with an understanding of community dynamics is an asset.
Knowledge of KDFN history, culture, goals and aspirations is required for success in this position.
Conditions of Employment: Class 5 driver’s license is an asset; acceptable criminal record and vulnerable sector search prior to employment commencing.
