Beneficiaries Information Session 2

Kwanlin Dün First Nation is in the final stages of developing a new Lands Act, to be passed in 2020. Your government is seeking clear direction from Beneficiaries regarding the 2010 Settlement Land Policy.

A Beneficiary Settlement Land Policy will shape how land will be used by Beneficiaries, Citizens and non-Citizens for future generations and protect the interest of Beneficiaries. It’s an important policy that will help determine how KDFN grows and moves forward with residential, traditional and recreational use of Settlement Land.

A meeting for Beneficiaries to vote on whether to hold a Beneficiaries referendum on the amended policy will be held on October 3, 2019. There will be two information sessions before the vote, on September 19, and 26, 2019.

They will take place 5:30-9:00 p.m. and Dinner will be provided.
