KDFN’s House of Learning is offering a new “Exploring Trades & Technology Program”. This four-month program will provide participants with knowledge, hands-on skills and personal skills development related to carpentry, welding, electrical, plumbing/pipe trades. The program runs from February 13 to June 1, 2012.
This program can help people decide which trades career they may wish to follow.
Participants must commit to four months of full-time study. During the program, they will receive certified safety training (Confined Space Awareness, Wilderness First Aid, Rigging & Hoisting, Industrial Safety, WHMIS and Fall Protection Training).
The course is starting on Feb. 13th so people are encouraged to get their applications in very soon! All applicants must be unemployed.
