“The Dream Catchers” a team of Kwanlin Dun staff members participated in the annual “Relay for Life” fundraiser held Saturday, June 7th at Rotary Peace Park. The Dream Catchers raised over $3,000.00 for cancer research. The annual cancer fundraiser began at 7:00 p.m. Saturday and ended with a pancake breakfast on Sunday morning. Dream Catchers members included (L - R) Dr. Jacob Abraham, Raghu Kolothumkattil, Carmen Gibbons, Honey-Starr Sydney, Eileen Melnychuk, Martin Sewap and Johnny Brass as well as Millie Gage and Ellder Billie Giroux (not pictured) made up the team.
