Dusk’a Head Start Family Learning Centre

Dusk’a Head Start Family Learning Centre is a fully licensed early childhood education center for children aged 18 months to pre-kindergarten. Dusk’a is renowned for its programming with an emphasis on kindergarten readiness, health promotion, nutrition, language, culture, parental and community involvement. Dusk’a provides high quality holistic programming that meets the needs of each child from a family centered approach.

The centre is named after the late respected Elder Dusk’a, who was also known as Emma Burns. It was decided to name the facility after Dusk’a in recognition of her commitment to children and to the daycare.
