From Toronto Ontario where I did an undergrad in Anthropology and a Master’s in Environmental Studies with a focus on Cultural Anthropology and Education.
2016 – 2017 I did my Master’s Research with Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in First Nation in Dawson City Yukon. Intergenerational Learning and the Role of Elder’s in Integrated Education Systems.
Created a draft Teacher Handbook for the Teachers in Robert Service School, for them to better understand the community, First Nations culture and how to work with and utilize Elder’s in their classrooms.
2018 was hired as the Curriculum and Resource Developer for The Yukon Native Language Centre (YTNLC) and worked there 5 years – when the Council of Yukon First Nations took over administration and control of the YNLC and First Nations Language Revitalization.
