Kwanlin Dün Elder Judy Gingell Honoured with Order of Canada May 3rd 2013

OTTAWA—Friday, May 3, 2013. His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, will preside over an Order of Canada investiture ceremony at Rideau Hall, today at 10:30 a.m. The Governor General, who is chancellor and Principal Companion of the Order, will bestow the honour on 25 Members, 18 Officers and 1 Companion.

Seeking Social Assistance Policy Review Committee Members April 23rd 2013

Kwanlin Dun First Nation is seeking interested citizens to join the Social Assistance Review Committee. This Committee will be responsible for providing input and advice on the Social Assistance program and policies. 

Council is seeking nominations for three (3) Kwanlin Dün citizens, including one youth (age 19-29). Experience working on boards, committees or working groups and knowledge of the Social Assistance program would be an asset.
