KDFN’s Heritage, Lands and Resources Department is looking to contract a Fisheries Biologist and Technical Support to support KDFN’s participation in the Yukon Energy Corporation Relicensing of Whitehorse Rapids Generating Station.
The contract is to March 31st, 2025. The successful contractor is expected to have experience working with First Nation governments in fisheries projects, particularly related to hydro-electric development. The Fisheries Biologist and Technical Support will work with KDFN’s Technical Lead to represent KDFN’s interests in multi-party Technical Working Group meetings and support KDFN’s review of regulatory applications.
