KDFN community members are invited to join Ryan Sealy and Russel Burns for a 4.5 day Trapper Training course at Nàkwät’à Kų̀ – Potlatch House. The course will take place between May 4 and March 8, and run daily between 8:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. You will learn:

• Learn ethics, regulations, rights, and responsibilities

• Safety and survival

• Fur bearing animal biology and management etc.

If you complete all four days, you will earn an assistant trapper’s licence. To register call Steven Shorty at 867-334-1004.
