This past weekend Yukon RCMP, in conjunction with Mothers Against Drunk Driving Yukon, conducted a check stop to ensure drivers in Whitehorse were safe and sober. Many volunteers supported RCMP and MADD; including Kwanlin Dün First Nation leadership Chief Sean Smith and Councillor Mike Stanley, KDFN Youth Rec staff member and the 2026 First Nations Grad Valedictorian Clark Stanley-Sole, Kwanlin Dün Community Safety Officers Evan Hoogland and Patrick Smarch, and KDFN RCMP Constable Phil Isabelle.
