In July, Pope Francis will visit Canada to formally deliver the Roman Catholic Church’s apology for its role in operating residential schools. Pope Francis will be in Edmonton from July 24th to 27th.

KDFN Council will offer travel support to KDFN Citizens who are residential school survivors and wish to travel to Edmonton to witness the apology in person, as it may help with their healing journey.

The deadline to apply for funding is July 11, 2022 at 4:30 p.m.
