Today, November 8, is Indigenous Veterans Day.
On this day, we recognize the Indigenous peoples across Canada who not only served in the military, but who also were historically faced with many challenges in the process of enlisting.
Today and every day, we honour the Indigenous, First Nations, Inuit and Métis people who served, and continue to serve in the Canadian military today, putting their lives on the line.
