September – Identity Activities

This kit includes a language file, bulletin file, an activity file, a story file and a resource file. While the kit is labelled September, it can be used at any time that the resources fit a teacher’s objective. The kit currently explores September Identity. The activities will reflect clan identity, using paper, leather, felt, fur and feathers.

ACTIVITY ONE:

Theme: Clan Identity on Paper

Resources Needed:

  • Colouring Sheets that reflect the two dominant clans in kit. If a child does not have a clan, a crest or different clan can be printed.
  • Pencil crayons or markers or paint or mixed medium items for glueing.
  • Scissors.

Instructions:
Ask the children to use the creative tools to show their pride of the clan animal they are from.
