Conservation officers and other experts will be onsite throughout the duration of the market to chat, share information and answer questions.

An interactive bear safety demonstration will take place at 5:45 pm (inert bear spray will be provided – do not bring your own).

The Whitehorse Bear Working Group is made up of representatives from the Government of Yukon, City of Whitehorse, Yukon, Yukon Fish and Wildlife Management Board, Grizzly Bear Protection Yukon, Kwanlin Dün First Nation, Ta’an Kwäch’än Council and the Yukon First Nation Education Directorate.
