Lots in Chasàn Tatäy will be made available to individuals and developers through long term leases.
Construction crews are hard at work on the Chasàn Tatäy subdivision at Range Point. Right now, they are digging trenches for the sewer system, lot services, and infrastructure. Other work to be done includes construction of a lift station, storm water pond, roads, and a central park.
The name Chasàn Tatäy, which translates to Copper Narrows, was chosen with input from KDFN Citizens. Before the name was picked, the project was referred to as the Range Point Subdivision.
Once lots are complete, they will be made available to individuals and developers through long term leases. Lease sales and income tax from residents that move into Chasàn Tatäy will contribute to KDFN’s financial growth and stability, benefiting all Citizens.

Kwanlin Dün First Nation is working together with the Government of Yukon on this project. The subdivision is being built on 14.85 hectares of KDFN settlement land and 3.6 hectares of Government of Yukon land. When finished, Chasàn Tatäy will include over 320 housing units including single detached houses, duplexes, town houses, and apartments.
Construction crews are moving dirt, making way for infrastructure, such as sewers.
Last week, Chief Sean Uyenets’echᶖa Smith stopped by the construction site to see the progress and talk to workers.
Once complete, Chasàn Tatäy will include over 320 housing units.
